Brenden Aaronson
25-Year-Old
Leeds United
Premier
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Aaronson had maybe the most consistent season of his career in the Championship last season, scoring nine goals while playing a career-high 3,567 minutes. The attacking midfielder is poised to continue a big role and will hope to have more success than the 2022/23 season when he had one goal and three assists. Aaronson has plenty of upside as an attacking midfielder, but it's somewhat questionable he had just two assists from 73 chances created last season. The minutes should be there for Aaronson since he can play across the attack, but without set pieces, his overall numbers may struggle a bit.
Provides assist in loss
Aaronson assisted once to go with two shots (zero on goal) and one chance created in Sunday's 3-1 loss versus Nottingham Forest.
ANALYSIS
Aaronson received Noah Okafor's recovery in the Forest half and slipped Lukas Nmecha through for the opening goal in the 13th minute. He linked well in transition but Leeds United lost control once Forest equalized two minutes later. This assist was his first of the season, and he now has two goal contributions in 11 appearances for Leeds United this campaign.
