2025 Fantasy Outlook
Palmer followed up his breakout campaign with 15 goals and eight assists in 2024/25, though it was a slight dip from the previous season's 22 goals and 11 assists. Notably, that prior production came in 581 fewer minutes, albeit with a ridiculous nine penalties converted (he took one last season). Still just 23 years old, Palmer should remain one of the best fantasy options in the league. Despite Chelsea adding numerous bodies to the attack, it's hard to see Palmer losing starts, keeping his floor higher than most having not dealt with a bad injury the past two years. There is some concern his numbers dropped in the second half of last season, but some of that can be attributed to injuries around him, something that shouldn't be a problem again given Chelsea's summer spending.
Trains Monday
Palmer (thigh) was present in Chelsea's training session Monday after being sidelined Sunday against Crystal Palace, Bobby Vincent of Mirror Sport reports.
ANALYSIS
Palmer could be an option for the midweek UCL trip to Napoli after missing the last league contest with a minor thigh issue. The talented attacker has struggled with injuries over the past few months but has produced shooting numbers whenever he's available, scoring three times over his last seven league starts. If he can play a role in the next game, he'll likely be used in the three-man attacking midfield line, pushing Enzo Fernandez to a more defensive spot and Andrey Santos to the bench.

Dealing with minor thigh issue
Palmer was sidelined Wednesday against Pafos as a precaution after suffering a minor thigh issue during the game against Brentford but has a good chance to be available for Sunday's clash against Crystal Palace, coach Liam Rosenior said in a press conference. "It was precautionary. He felt something really minor in the game against Brentford. It was quite early on so credit to him for playing through it. I don't want to risk any players at this stage, especially players of his quality. He's got a really good chance to be involved and start the game on Sunday, and we will keep preparing him for that."

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could return to Manchester
Manchester United could make a shocking move to sign Palmer, according to The Express.
ANALYSIS
Palmer is believed to be "homesick" and keen to return to Manchester, meaning a move to Old Trafford would be the only way to make that happen. However, it's unclear whether Chelsea will do business with Manchester United, especially given that it involves their star player. Palmer has a contract until 2033 at Stamford Bridge, meaning the wages and transfer fee would have to be astronomical to get a deal done.
