Dwight McNeil
26-Year-Old
Everton
Premier
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Although McNeil missed nearly half the season due to a knee injury, he put together an excellent campaign when healthy. He recorded 10 goal contributions despite making just 15 starts, and that level of play bodes very well for him heading into next season under David Moyes. He's recorded at least seven goal contributions in six of his seven full Premier League campaigns, but he now has significant competition for his minutes with the addition of Jack Grealish. When he's on the pitch, McNeil should be a valuable attacker, but it's likely that he will split minutes evenly with Grealish, limiting the upside for both.
Four crosses in draw
McNeil generated one shot (zero on goal), four crosses (zero accurate) and one corner in Saturday's 0-0 draw against Burnley.
ANALYSIS
After starting the previous match on the right wing in place of Iliman Ndiaye, who is away at AFCON, McNeil made another start but operated on the left with Jack Grealish (illness) unavailable, freeing Tyler Dibbiling to play on the right. He attempted one shot, produced a season-high four tackles, created one chance and delivered four crosses, marking back-to-back matches with four crosses while taking one corner in each game.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Undergoes Everton physical
McNeil is reportedly going through his medical at Everton ahead of a move from Burnley, Greg O'Keefe of the Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
McNeil started 35 of his 28 appearances for Burnley last season in which he recorded one assist, 52 shots, 199 crosses and 48 corners. With Burnley relegated to the Championship, it was unlikely the midfielder was going to go with the club, having drawn interest from several clubs beyond Everton. Assuming the transfer is finalized, McNeil should be in the mix for a regular spot in the starting XI, especially considering he has featured in 107 of his 112 Premier League contests over the previous three years.
