Garner (back) continues to train indoors and needs around a month still, according to manager Sean Dyche. "Jimmy has been working hard, he's further down the road than he was but he's still not on the grass yet with us and that's going to be a little bit of a while yet. He's making progress."

Garner (back) has yet to start training on the grass for Everton, said manager Sean Dyche. "Jimmy is not there yet [on the grass]".

Garner (back) is beginning his rehab after a positive update from a specialist, per manager Sean Dyche. "Jimmy [Garner] has had good news from the specialist, although he's been out a while now so he's going to have to start the training period again. You have to be careful with back injuries in the initial spell."

Garner (back) is set for weeks out, according to manager Sean Dyche. "Jimmy Garner is very unfortunate, he has a longer-term injury. I mentioned last week about getting an assessment from the specialist, they have advised a period to slow him down and take him off the grass. So we will have to wait and see on that one, but it's going to be weeks, not days. It's a back injury that we have to be careful with."

Garner (back) is out for Saturday's match against Fulham as he takes more time to recover, according to manager Sean Dyche. "Jimmy - we're waiting on more news, just a specialist view on a back injury, so we're waiting on that."
