Evanilson posted a solid inaugural Premier League season with Bournemouth in 2024/25. Despite a broken foot, which put him out six weeks in early 2025, the Brazilian striker netted 10 from 31 appearances (28 starts). It certainly wasn't a poor first taste of Premier League action, but he didn't quite live up to expectations, going missing for large stretches of the season. He should remain the top option leading the line next season, and it's expected he'll again hit double-digit goals even without a role on penalties.
Suffers calf injury
Evanilson (calf) suffered an injury and will likely miss some time to recover, coach Andoni Iraola said to the media, according to Alex Smith from the Bournemouth Echo. "Unluckily he's also injured. Evanilson, he felt something in the soleus and he will be out. It doesn't look big also, but definitely not available today and we'll see for the next weeks."
