2025 Fantasy Outlook
Christie was excellent throughout the 2024/25 campaign, starting almost every match he was fit for while adding five goal contributions. There was some concern that Tyler Adams would eat into his minutes, but Christie was an unquestioned starter, at least until a groin injury ended his season early. The injury isn't expected to change his starting gig for 2025/26, though if Adams and Alex Scott can remain healthy, there's a chance the consistent minutes evaporate. Christie isn't a major offensive threat, but in the right situation with set pieces, he can always impress on the score sheet.
Makes bench Saturday
Christie (knee) is on the bench for Saturday's clash against Burnley.
ANALYSIS
Christie is named on the bench for Saturday's clash against the Clarets after missing the last four games due to a knee injury. He resumed full training with the squad this week and is deemed fit enough to be involved as a substitute option. His return still provides the Cherries with much-needed midfield depth with Tyler Adams ruled out long term.

Suffers knee sprain
Christie played through pain with Scotland and in Saturday's draw against West Ham United and an MRI confirmed he is suffering from a knee sprain that will rule him out for three to four weeks, coach Andoni Iraola said in the press conference. "We have had bad news of Ryan Christie. Ryan also got injured with the national team, same as Ben [Gannon-Doak], when they played the first game against Greece. He played with some pain in their second game. He also played with some pain against West Ham for us. But we did an MRI after the game, as he was not feeling comfortable, and he has a sprain in the knee. He will be out for some time. [...] It could be three weeks, four weeks, something like this. The problem now is three weeks is not three games."
