2025 Fantasy Outlook
Cook was rock solid at the heart of the Bournemouth midfield yet again last season, though he was shifted to right-back for a spell due to a variety of injuries. His one goal and three assists is about what he's produced across nearly a decade and that's not going to change in 2025/26. He's never going to be a top offensive contributor, but he should remain a regular after finishing just 22 minutes short of 3,000 last season. His split role on set pieces keeps him relevant in fantasy, though a lack of shooting caps his upside a decent amount.

On bench Saturday
Cook (knee) is on the bench for Saturday's clash against Brighton.
ANALYSIS
Cook is on the bench for Saturday's clash against the Seagulls as he continues working toward full fitness. The midfielder had resumed partial training with the squad but wasn't fully cleared to start. Alex Scott keeps his place in the starting XI for the Cherries' midfield.

Late call Saturday
Cook (knee) will be a late call for Saturday's clash against Brighton, coach Andoni Iraola said in the press conference. "We have Lewis Cook's situation. He has been training with the team a little bit, but he's probably not 100%. We need to see after training how he feels."
