Vicario started strong in his second Spurs season before an injury forced him to the sideline for months. When he returned in February, it was behind an injury-riddled defensive unit and an out-of-confidence team focusing on Europa league. In the end, he managed just four clean sheets across 24 league starts. The hope for Vicario is that he can thrive in Thomas Frank's system that should lead to just as many clean sheets and possibly more saves. A fully fit defense in front of him would also go a long way toward helping him reach double-digit clean sheets.

Vicario's poor run of form continued Tuesday as he conceded multiple goals in his fourth consecutive Premier League start. Neither goal was totally on him though as Bruno Guimaraes scored an impressive goal in the 71st minute and then Anthony Gordon converted from the penalty spot in the 86th. The busy month of fixtures continues Saturday versus Brentford, a side which has scored 21 goals through 13 matches this season.
