Jader Obrian

Obrian was selected as the first pick in the Re-Entry Draft last season by Austin FC via FC Dallas. In his first season in Austin, Obrian appeared in every match, starting 30 of 34 games, supplying seven goals and adding two assists. The front office rewarded Obrian with a new contract through 2026 with a team option for 2027. It's more than likely Obrian and Osman Bukari will feature as the team's wingers, with the club looking to add another striker to replace Diego Rubio in the starting lineup. If Austin's starting forward produces more goals, Obrian could see double-digit goal contributions in 2025.
