2025 Fantasy Outlook
McGinn was ever-present for Villa in 2024/25, combining energy, leadership and clutch performances in big games. He chipped in one goal and four assists in the Premier League while often covering ground box-to-box. His pressing intensity and ability to carry the ball through midfield remained vital in Villa's most competitive stretches. Heading into 2025/26, McGinn is still a central figure but may face more rotation with added depth. His ability to play in multiple positions should remain a key to playing time, but as seen last season when he scored three goals in Champions League compared to one in domestic play, upside is mostly inconsistent.
Scores on return
MAston Villa
October 2, 2025
McGinn started and scored during Thursday's Europa League clash with Feyenoord.
ANALYSIS
Mcginn came off injured against Fulham at the weekend, but was deemed fit enough for Thursday's match. The midfielder played 85 minutes and scored in the second half. McGinn is a key option in midfield and is in fine goalscoring form since shifting to defensive midfield, with three goals in his last three matches in all competitions.
