Munteanu has completed a transfer to D.C. United from CFR Cluj, according to his new club.

ANALYSIS
Munteanu is ending his time in his home country of Romania to take his talents across the pond, inking a deal until the 2028/29 season with D.C. United. The 23-year-old joins as solid forward who will bring some decent promise to the attack, recording 28 goals and nine assists in 63 appearances over two seasons with his former club. After the exit of Christian Benteke, the D.C. appears to have found their new forward, with Munteanu looking to be their starter to enter the season.
