Option for Burnley outing
Mount (undisclosed) is back in training and is an option for Wednesday;s match against Burnley, according to interim manager Darren Fletcher. "Mason and Bruno were pushing to play against Leeds. The decision was that they weren't quite ready, so they've trained. They should be back in the squad, but they'll be on managed minutes as well, restricted minutes because obviously they've just returned to training."
ANALYSIS
Mount returned to training last week and was already eyeing a return Wednesday, with that now further solidified. The club should then gain back two midfielders this week as Bruno Fernandes (hamstring) is also set for a return, a huge boost after a few weeks low in the midfield department. He started in the four games before his injury and should work back into that role after testing his legs.

ANALYSIS
Mount had an injury-riddled season at Manchester United in 2023/24, and even though he wants another chance at Old Trafford, a departure can't be ruled out. Especially if the Red Devils add depth in midfield with the likes of Adrien Rabiot and Manuel Ugarte potentially joining the club.
