Ake (hamstring) is expected to be out until after the next international break, according to manager Pep Guardiola.
ANALYSIS
Ake will need some time to get back on his feet after he was stretchered off the field while serving with the Netherlands, as the defender is now expected to be out until after the next international break that takes place from Oct. 10 to 18. This will be a tough loss for the club, with the Dutch defender being a solid rotational player within their defense. On the bright side, Manuel Akanji and Josko Gvardiol are more than worthy replacements to take Ake's time while out. He will now hope for no setbacks as he looks to reach peak fitness again, as he will already miss around a month of action.
