2025 Fantasy Outlook
Arriola had yet another disappointing season during 2024 despite featuring in 31 matches, compiling five goals and two assists, a far cry from the 10 goals and five assists compiled in 2022. However, a change of scenery may help rejuvenate his career, as he is joining former Dallas teammate Jesus Ferreira in Seattle. He should see a spot in the starting XI with his new team immediately, likely replacing the spot Leo Chu once held after his move to Dallas in the Ferriera trade. That said, Arriola is likely to see plenty of opportunities, leaving it upon himself to convert and make the best of this move, as he will be joined by plenty of solid talent along with fellow veterans of the game while on the field with his new team.
Training with team
Arriola (knee) has been training fully with the team during preseason trainings, per Jayda Evans of the Seattle Times.
ANALYSIS
Arriola is very optimistic that he will be ready for the start of the season, having been able to training with his teammates in preseason. His next step will to try to be fit for Seattle's preseason matches to determine if he is fit enough for the opener on Feb 22. Arriola torn his ACL in March of 2025, missing majority of the 2025 year during his first campaign with Seattle.
