Gomez signed a first team contract as a homegrown player for Seattle, joining from Tacoma Defiance, through 2029 with a club option for 2030, the club announced. "Sebastian's signing continues to highlight the strength of our development pathway. He's another example of a young player who came through our academy, grew in our system and earned his place at the next level," said Sounders FC General Manager & Chief Soccer Officer Craig Waibel.
