                    2025 Fantasy Outlook

Johnson's second season in Toronto was worse than his first, allowing 19 more goals while making 19 more saves and keeping the same amount of clean sheets. Despite missing time for various reasons throughout 2024, he still made 25 starts, five more than 2023. The veteran keeper was towards the bottom of the league in terms of saves and clean sheets, but he was also middle of the pack in goals conceded despite Toronto struggling as a team. Johnson is unlikely to be much more than a streaming option in goal for fantasy managers in 2025 unless Toronto significantly improve.

                  Season high saves in win
Johnson had eight saves on 31 shot attempts (10 on goal) and gave up two goals in Saturday's 4-2 win over Orlando.
                  ANALYSIS
Johnson was busy on Saturday notching a season high in saves with eight. Orlando's fast paced attack was applying constant pressure but Johnson stood strong. Johnson's up and down season comes to an end with with seven clean sheets, and will look for more consistency next year.

                  Might leave NYCFC
Johnson might not play for New York City FC during the 2023 MLS season, according to Tom Bogert of MLSSoccer.com.
                  ANALYSIS
Johnson and NYCFC are talking regarding a new contract, but no real progress has been made so far. Losing Johnson would be a huge blow for NYCFC since they don't have a goalkeeper that's ready to replace him straight away in their current roster.
