Look for some high-scoring games this week as bad pitching meets the juiced baseball. The Pirates aren't usually a team to look at for big week, but with seven games at homes, Bucs hitters share the spotlight with the surprising Texas Rangers. The Tigers, Royals, Brewers, Angels, Padres, Rays and Blue Jays also play seven with the Tigers gaining an extra tilt courtesy of a doubleheader with the White Sox.
The extra game for the Pale hose prevented then from joining the Diamondbacks, Indians, Rockies, Astros and the Mets with five contests.
Platoon aficionados note the White Sox are slated to face five southpaws while the Yankees, Athletics, Cardinals and Rays draw a quartet of lefties.
