Weekly Pitcher Rankings: Top Pitchers This Week

Be careful with your pitching selections as scoring remains elevated.
Weekly Pitcher Rankings: Top Pitchers This Week

Scoring usually peaks in July and then slowly starts to decline in August. This season is an aberration, at least so far. The data is through Aug. 15. It's curious that BABIP is down so far, though it's likely happenstance and not something tangible. This is the time to start getting more aggressive with pitching usually based on declining scoring, but also due to category management. While the August increase suggests proceeding with caution (especially if BABIP regresses up), you do what you have to do if you need points.
