Slumping Rockets Host Struggling Pistons
The Houston Rockets play host to the Detroit Pistons at Toyota Center on Friday evening.

The Rockets (18-59) have dropped their last seven games. They have a chance to turn things around as they kick off a three-game home stand with the hopes of improving on their, 12-26, home record. Jalen Green leads the team, averaging 21.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game. Kevin Porter averages 18.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 1.3 steals, while Alperen Sengun averages 14.7 points, 8.7 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game. The Rockets average 110.4 points per game, which is second fewest in the league, and they give up an average of 118.9 points per game, which is third-most in the league.

Meanwhile, the Pistons (16-60) have also dropped seven straight games. They look to get back on track as they face the second game of a three-game road trip with a chance to improve on their, 7-30, road record. They continue to deal with injury trouble, as Bojan Bogdanovic (Achilles), Alec Burks (foot), Killian Hayes (leg) and Rodney McGruder (foot) are listed as questionable, while Hamidou Diallo (ankle) and Isaiah Stewart (shoulder) are out. Jaden Ivey averages 15.8 points, 3.9 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game. Marvin Bagley is averaging 12.0 points and 6.7 rebounds, while Jalen Duren averages 8.9 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. The Pistons average 110.7 points per game, which is third fewest in the league, while they give up an average of 118.6 points, which is fourth-most in the league.
