Nuggets Hoping To Get Back On Track
The Denver Nuggets play host to the Washington Wizards at Ball Arena on Thursday evening.

The Nuggets (36-19) dropped three straight games heading into the all-star break but hope to get back on track as they return to action with a chance to improve on their, 21-5, home record. Nikola Jokic continues to lead the team, averaging 26.1 points, 12.0 rebounds, 8.9 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.9 blocks per game. Michael Porter averages 15.9 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists, while Aaron Gordon is averaging 13.8 points, 6.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game. The Nuggets average 113.9 points per game, and they hold opponents to an average of 110.8 points per game, which is sixth fewest in the league. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (hamstring) missed three of the last four games and is listed as probable for action on Thursday. Jamal Murray (leg) missed the last game before the break and is also listed as probable.

Meanwhile, the Wizards (9-45) dropped their last eight games before the break. They are set to kick off the second half of the season with a two-game road trip and the chance to build on their, 6-22, road record. Kyle Kuzma leads the team, averaging 21.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game. Jordan Poole averages 15.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.1 steals, while Deni Avdija is averaging 13.8 points, 6.6 rebound and 3.8 assists per game. The Wizards average 114.8 points per game, but they give up an average of 123.9 points per game, which is second-most in the league.
