It's the first weekend of the 2025-26 NCAA Men's College Basketball regular season on Saturday. We're here to help provide a trio of picks on select days throughout the week, hopefully helping you get into the black, as we head into the holidays and the new year. It's never too early to start squirreling away money for March Madness.
College Basketball PrizePicks Picks & Strategy
If you're unfamiliar with how to play, you must simply choose at least two players from any sport and pick more or less based on their projected statistics to win. We'll obviously be exclusively selecting college hoops players, but you can mix and match from various other sports. You can also go with a flex play, meaning you still can have a winning night even if you have one losing selection. Or, you can go big and choose the power play, which pays out higher. However, you must hit all ends to win. Let's get started.

Jeremy Fears Jr., G, Michigan State
Fears and the Spartans play host to the Arkansas Razorbacks at Breslin Center at 7 p.m. ET on FOX.
Fears opened the season with 14 points, 10 assists and five rebounds in 34 minutes in an 80-69 victory over Colgate on Monday night. He also added five steals, if you wanted to kick the tires on that particular stat. Fears was 4-of-10 from the field, and he misfired on his only 3-point attempt.
Fears played a team-high 34 minutes against the Raiders in the opener, and he probably played a little longer than expected, as the game was close deep into the second half. The same should be true on Saturday night against the Razorbacks, as it should be a fairly close game. Expect similar production to the opener.
CBB PrizePicks Selection: Jeremy Fears Jr., Over 21.5 Pts+Rebs+Asts
Aaron McBride, F, Loyola Marymount
Loyola Marymount might not normally be on your radar if you're a casual fan, or you love college hoops, but you're locked into college football, NBA, NHL, etc. right now.
However, McBride is good for 15.0 points (PPG), 8.5 rebounds (RPG) and 2.0 assists (APG) in two games. The first game wasn't particularly impressive coming against a lower-level team, Lincoln University (CA). However, he was good for 10 points and 11 rebounds in 33 minutes for the double-double in a 70-62 win over Eastern Washington on Wednesday, while equaling his two assists, one block and two steals from the first game. He was also an identical 2-of-4 from behind the 3-point arc.
Look for McBride to roll up the points, boards and dimes against an Arkansas-Pine Bluff team which is very giving defensively.
CBB PrizePicks Selection: Aaron McBride, Over 20.5 Pts+Rebs+Asts

Nijel Pack, G, Oklahoma
Pack opened the season with 16 points, three rebounds, three assists and three blocks in 29 minutes Monday in a 102-66 victory over St. Francis (PA), hitting 6-of-12 from the field. More importantly, he was 4-of-9 from behind the 3-point line.
Pack will be huge in a marquee battle with Gonzaga at Spokane Arena on ESPN2 at 10:30 p.m. ET. With Graham Ike gumming up the paint on defense for the Zags, the perimeter game is going to be key for the Sooners if they're to spring the upset.
Let's roll with the former Miami Hurricane to knock down at least two successful triples.
CBB PrizePicks Selection: Nijel Pack, Over 1.5 3-Pointers
