DraftKings CFL DFS Picks: Week 11 Value Plays

DraftKings CFL DFS Picks: Week 11 Value Plays

This article is part of our DraftKings CFL DFS Picks series.

Quarterback

Trevor Harris, OTT at MTL ($10,300): Harris was back to his old self over the last two weeks, throwing for a total for 722 yards in that pair of contests. He scored between 16.36 and 26.76 fantasy points over the last five games overall, a span that includes a 376-yard, two-touchdown effort versus this same Alouettes squad. Montreal allows a robust 294.4 yards per game through the air and has nabbed just three interceptions on the season, and Harris has actually been better on the road, averaging 24.6 fantasy points over four games outside of TD Place Stadium.

Ricky Ray, TOR at HAM ($9,700): Ray saw a significant downturn in production against the stingy Stampeders defense last week, but it would be wise to have a short memory with respect to that outing. Calgary has made life tough on multiple teams this season, while the Ti-Cats have been one of the most accommodating units in the league. Hamilton checks in allowing a league-high 354.6 passing yards and 38.6 points per contest, metrics that Ray contributed to by throwing for a whopping 506 yards in the season opener on his way to 27.64 fantasy points.

Kevin Glenn, SSK vs. WPG ($9,400): Glenn has averaged a stellar 33.2 fantasy points in four home games this season, and he also scored 33.28 fantasy points against the Blue Bombers in a road matchup in Week 2. Winnipeg has allowed 309.8 yards per game through the air, and surrendered five passing touchdowns in the last two games alone.

Jeremiah Masoli, HAM vs. TOR ($6,700): Masoli has been named the starter for Week 11 in an attempt to jump-start the Tiger-Cats' moribund offense. His price certainly isn't reflective of his starting role, making him a viable punt play at quarterback if you want to spend up elsewhere. Masoli has been solid in a couple of relief efforts this season and was serviceable in 10 starts in 2016, throwing for 2,695 yards and 15 touchdowns while also rushing for 180 yards and notching another six scores on the ground. While relying on a previous season's numbers can be a bit tricky in a league with as much turnover in personnel as the CFL, it's also worth noting that Masoli fired a trio of touchdowns as part of a 318-yard performance against this same Toronto squad in the 2016 season opener.

Running Back

Andrew Harris, WPG at SSK ($7,900): Harris takes his usual place at the top of the running back tier in Week 11. He will face a Roughriders defense that has allowed the second most rushing yards (93.3) per game, three rushing scores over its last two games, and that he posted 15.5 fantasy points against to open 2017. Harris has double-digit fantasy points in all but one contest this season.

Cameron Marshall, SSK vs. WPG ($6,800): Marshall's price has risen, but justifiably so, considering he has scored over 20 fantasy points in his last two contests. He scored three touchdowns over that pair of games, with two of those coming through the air. His presence in the passing game has progressively increased, with Marshall logging a catch of over 20 yards and bumping up his receiving yardage in three straight games. The Blue Bombers have allowed 83.6 rushing yards and 309.8 passing yards per contest, which bodes well for Marshall's diverse role in the offense.

Roy Finch, CGY vs. EDM ($5,200): Finch has made for a rewarding punt play on multiple occasions this season due to his return abilities, and he scored between 15.05 and 20.65 fantasy points in three of his last four games. He tallied between 122 and 243 return yards in the last five contests, while also seeing rushing and receiving touches in all but two games this season.

Wide Receiver/Slotback

S.J. Green, TOR at HAM ($9,300): Green lit up the Tiger-Cats for seven catches and 124 yards in the first game of the season, a performance that generated 22.4 fantasy points. This week he will face a Hamilton secondary that really hasn't shown much improvement since that game, as they allowed six receiving touchdowns in the last three games alone. Green's production has fluctuated some, but he has scored over 20 fantasy points on three occasions this season.

Ernest Jackson, MTL vs. OTT ($7,100): Jackson takes on his old Redblacks teammates, a squad he already lit up for 21.1 fantasy points on the strength of eight receptions and 101 yards in Week 5. He tallied double-digit fantasy points in five of the last six contests overall, scoring touchdowns in three of those games. Ottawa also continues to field one of the most porous secondaries in the league, as they allow the second-most passing yards (321.0) per contest.

Diontae Spencer, OTT at MTL ($6,700): Spencer scored 17.9 and 26.55 fantasy points in the last two weeks, making excellent contributions as both a receiver and returner. He contributed a whopping 379 yards in returns in those contests, with 91 of those even coming off a missed field goal in Week 10. He has averaged 25.9 fantasy points in four road contests overall, and the Alouettes' defense surrendered four 300-yard passing efforts over the last six games, so he should be plenty active this week.

Jake Harty, OTT at MTL ($3,600): Harty has already been named the starter for this week's game, making him an outstanding bargain. He notched eight receptions over the last two games, including a six-catch effort against the Lions in Week 10 that led to his promotion. Harty doesn't need to do much to pay off his minuscule price, and he certainly allows you to fit in some high-priced stars elsewhere in your lineup.

Team Defense

Calgary Stampeders vs. Edmonton Eskimos ($5,000): The Stamps have been outstanding on defense throughout the majority of the season, and they now allow the least passing yards (244.8) and points (18.8) per contest. They posted double-digit fantasy points in three of the past four games, notching multiple sacks in each contest and allowing no more than 219 yards passing in any of them. They have averaged 15.0 fantasy points and allowed just 12.8 points per contest over their four home games as well, and while the Eskimos are undeniably a potent offense, they have committed the second-most turnovers (16) in the league.
