Quarterback
Mike Reilly, EDM at OTT ($11,600): Reilly is averaging 332.5 yards and 29.17 fantasy over his six road games this season, scoring 16 total touchdowns (12 passing, four rushing) during that span as well. He's coming off a spectacular 397-yard, six-touchdown effort (three passing, three receiving) versus the Stampeders that netted a season-high 51.18 fantasy points, and he'll face a Redblacks squad that's allowed the third-highest passer efficiency rating (90.4) this season. Ottawa has also allowed 21 completions of over 30 yards, which shapes up well for Reilly when one considers the league-high 16 touchdowns of greater than 20 yards that he's thrown. Despite the fact he's lost Derel Walker to a knee injury, Reilly aptly demonstrated his ability to thrive without his star receiver in his most recent contest and remains worth the price if you're paying up in Week 15.
Trevor Harris, OTT vs. EDM ($10,600): If we expect Reilly to do well, then it's highly likely that Harris is also racking up numbers in an effort to keep up with him. The veteran has certainly proven he's more than capable of such a feat, with the most recent example being the 24.86 to 27.04 fantasy points he's scored in four of his past five games. Harris has thrown for at least 334 yards in those contests, and he's averaging 311.6 passing yards over his five home games overall. The fact the Eskimos allow the third-most passing yards (278.2), second-highest average yards per passing play (8.7) and the most completions of over 30 yards (26) certainly helps make Harris' case even stronger.
Zach Collaros, SSK at TOR ($8,200): There's a few lower-cost options at quarterback this week, but there could be a case made for Collaros as the most affordable option among him, McLeod Bethel-Thompson ($8,600) and Jonathon Jennings ($8,500). Granted, the veteran hasn't exactly been in the best form lately, scoring single-digit fantasy points in his last two contests. However, the Argonauts' vulnerable defense might just be the cure for what ails him, considering they're allowing the second-most passing yards (307.5), highest completion percentage (71.1), highest average yards per pass (9.8), second-most completions of over 30 yards (24), highest quarterback rating (94.8) and highest pass efficiency rating (113.9). While Collaros' ceiling has generally been capped thus far, a decent return of the mid-to-upper-teens in terms of fantasy points is certainly conceivable given the matchup.
Running Back
William Powell, OTT vs. EDM ($8,200): Powell has eclipsed the 100-yard mark on the ground in three of his past five games, leading to fantasy-point totals of 23.5 to 34.5 over those contests. He's encouragingly maintaining a steady role in the passing game as well, logging multiple catches in eight straight contests. The veteran back could find a soft target in the Eskimos defense, as they've allowed the 110.9 rushing yards per contest and the second-highest average yards per rush (5.7), while also drawing even with the Blue Bombers for the most rushing touchdowns surrendered (16).
Jeremiah Johnson, BC vs. HAM (7,300): Johnson was admittedly disappointing in a Week 14 win over the Alouettes, but he's right back in consideration versus a Tiger-Cats defense that funnels plenty of action towards the run due to their shutdown secondary. Hamilton comes in allowing the most rushing yards per game (117.7) and the highest average yards per rush (6.0), along with 12 touchdowns on the ground. Johnson still saw double-digit carries last week, and although his lack of involvement in the passing game led to an underwhelming 7.2 fantasy points, he's logged between five and six receptions in the three of the four prior games. With Travis Lulay out of action due to a shoulder injury, the Lions could well lean on Johnson even more than usual as a means of protecting the inconsistent Jonathon Jennings at quarterback.
Tyrell Sutton, MTL at WPG ($6,400): Sutton should finally be back in action in Week 15 after missing the last several weeks due to a quad injury. The veteran should therefore have fresh legs against a Winnipeg squad that's given up a healthy 5.0 yards per rush and that is tied with the Eskimos for most rushing touchdowns surrendered (16). Winnipeg has also allowed eight runs of greater than 20 yards and 16 completions of more than 30, both of which could bode well for a fast dual-threat back like Sutton.
John White, HAM at BC: White is projected to start at running back for Hamilton in Week 15 against the Lions, but he's not currently listed in DraftKings' contests for the week. If he were to be added before the slates lock, he would make for an excellent bargain option. In lieu of that occurring, his teammates Mercer Timmis ($3,400) and Sean Thomas-Erlington ($3,200) are also interesting, but it will be difficult to get a feel for who might complement White in the running game until depth charts for the late Saturday night game are released.
Wide Receiver/Slotback
D'haquille Williams, EDM at OTT ($10,000): With Derel Walker (knee) out of action, Williams is the unquestioned lead dog in the prolific Eskimos passing attack. That much was once again evident in the Week 13 win over the Stampeders, when he racked up seven receptions for 172 yards and a touchdown on his way to 33.2 fantasy points in the first full game without Walker in the lineup. Williams should be in for yet another busy day in what is likely going to be a back-and-forth battle with the Redblacks, whose vulnerabilities to big passing plays won't play well with the nine receptions of over 30 yards and 317 yards after the catch that Williams has already racked up this season.
Diontae Spencer, OTT vs. EDM ($9,100): Spencer typically offers a nice floor due to his multiple roles, and even though his price has come up after a strong game against the Roughriders, he makes for one of the safest ways to get a piece of the Redblacks passing attack. Spencer racked up a whopping 33.55 fantasy points versus Saskatchewan in Week 14, with his 111 yards in returns helping round out his production. He also generated 42.7 fantasy versus the Argonauts back in Week 8, providing a glimpse at his massive ceiling. The Eskimos' vulnerability to big plays in the pass game were detailed earlier, and the fact they've already allowed two kickoff return touchdowns in 2018 also strengthens Spencer's case.
B.J. Cunningham, MTL at WPG ($6,700): Johnny Manziel is back under center for Montreal in Week 15, so I consider Cunningham to strictly be a tournament play. However, his price remains very affordable, and he'd recently put together a three-game stretch where he scored 13.2 to 21.7 fantasy points while tallying between 82 and 107 receiving yards. Granted, Cunningham struggled in Manziel's two prior starts (five catches for 31 yards), but he was targeted a fair amount in those contests. Additionally, his role as the Alouettes' most trusted pass catcher is essentially secure. Winnipeg also comes in allowing 276.4 passing yards per game and the second-most completions (277), so the matchup is one that could help pave the way for an adequate return on a mid-tier price.
Bryant Mitchell, EDM at OTT ($4,600): Mitchell likely has the most upside of any true bargain receiver in Week 15, considering he's got the benefit of Mike Reilly as his quarterback and also is enjoying an expanded role in the absence of Derel Walker (knee). Mitchell racked up a solid 15.6 fantasy points on the strength of a seven-catch, 86-yard effort versus the Stamps in Week 13, and he generated seven receptions for 128 yards and a score with another robust allotment of snaps back in Week 10 against the Alouettes. The Northwestern State alum brings plenty of big-play ability to the table, and with Mike Reilly averaging just over 35 pass attempts on the road, he should certainly have ample opportunity to pay off a sub-$5K price that could prove to be one of the true bargains of the week.
Team Defense
Hamilton Tiger-Cats at BC Lions ($4,400): The Tiger-Cats defense managed 18.0 fantasy points in their most recent outing against the Stampeders, and they also posted a 22.0-point tally versus the Alouettes back in Week 8. Those numbers corroborate an impressive ceiling that a Jonathon Jennings-led Lions offense could help facilitate once again. Jennings' propensity for turnovers is partly what got him benched earlier in the season for Travis Lulay (shoulder), and a matchup versus the stingiest secondary in the CFL doesn't exactly shape up as a recipe for success. Hamilton comes in allowing the fewest passing first downs (112), second-fewest net offensive yards (324.8), fewest plays from scrimmage per game (51.2), second-fewest first downs (212), fewest passing yards per game (219.3), fewest completions (211) and the second-lowest completion percentage (59.6). While Jeremiah Johnson stands to gain his fair share of yards versus the Ti-Cats' more susceptible run defense, Hamilton should have its fair share of opportunities to pressure Jennings into some errors while blanketing a group of pass catchers that less potent in the absence of Emmanuel Arceneaux (knee).
