Quarterbacks
Mike Reilly, EDM at BC ($10,800): Reilly has scored between 22.74 and 27.76 fantasy points in his last six games, and he posted a season-best 40.58 fantasy points against the Lions in Week 6 on the strength of a 412-yard, two-touchdown passing day. B.C. has allowed a robust 67.7 percent completion rate this season, along with the third-highest passer efficiency rating (98.4 percent), second-highest yards per pass (8.3) and third-most completions of over 30 yards (29). Meanwhile, Reilly has averaged 333.4 passing yards and 26.9 fantasy points in seven road games.
Ricky Ray, TOR vs. WPG ($10,200): Ray has scored between 24.14 and 27.2 fantasy points in his last three games, sports a stellar 13:5 TD:INT ratio at home, and threw for 330 yards in a Week 4 road tilt against Winnipeg. The Bombers also rank next-to-last in the CFL in total offensive touchdowns (42), passing touchdowns (28), passing yards per game (319.3), pass attempts (575) and completions of over 30 yards allowed (32), furthering Ray's case in the pivotal late-season matchup.
Jeremiah Masoli, HAM at MTL ($10,100): Masoli has eclipsed the 300-yard mark in two straight games and has scored between 23.72 and 31.32 fantasy points in four of his last five games. He draws a matchup against an Alouettes defense surrendering 297.3 passing yards per game, along with the third-most completions (398), third-most passing touchdowns (27), second-highest completion percentage (70.7) and second-highest passer efficiency rating (104.8). The Tiger-Cats continue to have faint playoff hopes, so Masoli will have plenty of motivation in what is certainly a favorable matchup.
Running Back
Andrew Harris, WPG at TOR ($8,400): Harris' inclusion as a top running back option requires little explanation, considering the integral role he plays in both the ground and air attacks. With Darvin Adams (upper body) also out of Saturday's contest and Weston Dressler questionable at best with his own upper-body injury, Harris could also see a boost in touches versus an Argonauts defense that he compiled 23.4 fantasy points against back in Week 4. Toronto is also tied with Winnipeg for third-most rushing touchdowns allowed (14), and with both the Bombers and Redblacks for second-highest average yards per rush surrendered (5.4). Furthermore, Harris has scored double-digit fantasy points in each game this season.
Jeremiah Johnson, BC vs. EDM ($7,000): The Eskimos have funneled plenty of action towards the run with their impressive pass defense this season, and the numbers indicate they're increasingly cracking under the strain as the season unfolds. Edmonton checks in allowing the second-most rush yards per game (104.5), along with the highest yards per rush (6.2), most rushes of over 20 yards (13) and most rushing touchdowns (17). Johnson has averaged 5.7 yards per rush and 17.2 fantasy points in seven home games and has racked up 25.35 and 18.4 fantasy points, respectively, in two prior meetings against the Eskimos this season.
Tyrell Sutton, MTL vs. HAM ($6,900): Sutton has recently taken his game to another level in the wake of the Alouettes' shaky quarterback situation, scoring 28.7 and 30.6 fantasy points, respectively, in two of the last three games. The versatile running back has encouragingly seen double-digit carries in three straight contests as well, and despite quarterback Darian Durant's expected return from a lower-body injury in Week 18, Sutton should still see solid volume. That should equate to impressive returns against a Tiger-Cats defense that's allowed the second-most rushing touchdowns (15) and is tied with multiple teams for third-most rushes of over 20 yards surrendered (eight). Sutton also brings some passing-game upside, having notched at least four catches in four consecutive games.
Alex Green, HAM at MTL ($6,500): The Alouettes' troubles against the run are exemplified by the fact that they've given up the most rushing yards (115.9) and most rushing attempts (331) per contest, and that they're tied with multiple teams for third-most rushes of over 20 yards surrendered (eight). Green has played in only three games this season, but he already has three rushing scores and has scored between 16.7 and 20.5 fantasy points in those contests. He's logged no less than 13 rushes as the undisputed lead back, and that type of workload affords him a strong chance of paying off his reasonable price.
Wide Receivers/Slotbacks
Brandon Zylstra, EDM at BC (9,800): The Lions' vulnerabilities against the pass were referenced earlier in Reilly's entry, while Zylstra checks in averaging 131.8 receiving yards and 26.2 fantasy points per game over five road contests. Moreover, he's scored 25.2 and 27.6 fantasy points, respectively, in two prior meetings against the Lions this season, notching seven receptions and eclipsing the 100-yard mark in each of those contests. He's incredibly scored over 30 fantasy points in four of his last six games, and came within less than a fantasy point of accomplishing the feat in a fifth contest during that span. With B.C.'s propensity for giving up long scores, Zylstra is potentially poised for another of the explosive outings he's made commonplace recently.
S.J. Green, TOR vs. WPG ($8,900): The Blue Bombers' considerable issues against the pass were detailed earlier in Ray's entry, while Green is coming off scoring a season-best 41.9 fantasy points on the strength of a 13-catch, 159-yard performance against the normally stingy Eskimos secondary in Week 17. While his production has fluctuated at times, his ceiling has essentially been unsurpassed, as he's reached the 40-fantasy-point mark twice and scored 38.5 in another game. Moreover, he's especially shown a nose for the end zone at home, racking up six receiving scores in eight games.
Brandon Banks, HAM at MTL ($7,100): Banks has almost exclusively concentrated on offense in recent weeks, and the focus has paid off. He's hit or eclipsed 100 receiving yards in three straight games, leading to tallies of between 21.05 and 25.9 fantasy points during that stretch. He's also notched a receiving touchdown in three of his past four games, and his game-breaking speed makes him a highly appealing option against an Alouettes defense that, as referenced previously in Masoli's entry, has given up 27 scores through the air in 2017.
TJ Graham, MTL vs. HAM ($3,200): Graham is this week's sneaky punt play, given his near-minimum price and his apparently expanding profile in the Montreal offense. He's posted six receptions for 92 yards and two rushes for 10 yards over two games since joining the Alouettes. Graham boasts plenty of NFL experience and 4.4 speed, so he can certainly get behind defenses when given the opportunity. His matchup against the Tiger-Cats defense is an appealing one, as Hamilton has surrendered the most passing yards (337.4), second-most completions (403), highest completion percentage (71.0) and highest average yards per pass (8.9) in the CFL, along with the fourth-most completions of over 30 yards (28).
Defense
Toronto Argonauts vs. Winnipeg Blue Bombers ($4,400): The Argonauts have averaged 12.1 fantasy points over eight home games, a figure that's partly comprised of seven interceptions, seven fumble recoveries, 28 sacks, three defensive touchdowns and two safeties. They allowed a stingy 305.5 total yards per game in those contests, and they continue to lead the CFL in sacks (47) on the season, while also yielding the second-lowest yards per play (6.2). The Blue Bombers are tied with the Alouettes for fourth-most sacks allowed (34) and will be missing a key offensive weapon in Darvin Adams (upper body).
