Every summer, the Fantasy Football Expo brings the fantasy community to Canton, Ohio, filling the Pro Football Hall of Fame with live drafts, expert panels and nonstop football talk.

This year, I was honored to represent RotoWire in the Queen's Classic -- the women's counterpart to the legendary King's Classic.

Both follow the same structure:

  • 14 Teams
  • Snake Draft
  • PPR Scoring
  • 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 3 Flex

League Members

Erika Brown, Wendi Earley, Sharlene Ericson, Britney Foxworth, Lindel Godfrey, Angie Hatfield, Lauren Jump, Kasey Kasum, Gemma Martinez, Gina Noble (reigning champ), Stacy Perez, Jen Polvogt, Lindsay Rhodes, Bonnie Robinson

Draft Results

Picking from the eighth spot, I went in with a clear plan: secure top-tier talent at both running back and wide receiver early, wait on quarterback, and lean into roster flexibility by stacking depth at the skill positions. Drafting from the middle puts you in the heart of the action -- constantly reacting to both sides of the board. The key is to stay flexible and capitalize on the inevitable value that falls to you.

Position-by-Position Breakdown

Wide Receiver

Malik Nabers

Garrett Wilson

DK Metcalf

Cooper Kupp

Keenan Allen

A mix of young talent and seasoned vets gives this WR corps plenty of depth and firepower. Nabers posted a league-high 32.2 percent target share last year and screams 'target hog' again in 2025, even with Russell Wilson under center. Slotting in alongside Nabers, Wilson has a trio of 1,000-yard seasons under his belt and projects for strong WR2 production with WR1 upside if things fall his way. Kupp, returning to his home state with the Seahawks, was (probably) a solid snag in the eighth round – provided he can stay healthy.

Running Back

Chase Brown

James Conner

Brian Robinson Jr.

Cam Skattebo

Brown anchors this balanced backfield, bringing pass-catching ability to Cincinnati's explosive offense while offering a reliable PPR floor. Conner brings some value in Round 4 -- he finished as a top-20 fantasy RB each of the last four seasons, landing top-15 in PPG every year. I drafted Robinson prior to his trade to the 49ers, and that move negates my original expectation for steady volume. Now he's positioned to split backup duties with Isaac Guerendo (when healthy). Given Christian McCaffrey's injury history and San Francisco's run-heavy offense, though, I'm hopeful Robinson can still deliver.

Quarterback

Dak Prescott

Jordan Love

Landing Prescott in the 10th round was a steal. Pairing him with a late Love hedge gives me a reliable quarterback room without overspending. It takes mental strength to avoid slipping into early QB runs, and in this case, we saw seven fly off the board in the third round alone. Patience.

Tight End

David Njoku

Isaiah Likely

Njoku has volume potential but isn't necessarily elite, so I'll need him -- or Likely -- to overperform. Luckily for me -- and Njoku -- Joe Flacco has been named the starting quarterback for the Browns. In five games together, the duo yielded 30 catches for 390 yards and four touchdowns. Likely, on the other hand, will likely only get his share pending a Mark Andrews decline or injury.

Team Analysis

With multiple WR/RB options and no glaring bye-week holes, my first-ever Queen's Classic draft is complete and my team is ready to contend.
