The NFL season continues to fly by, and a critical portion of the fantasy season is upon us. Roles continue to change and injuries are piling up, changing fantasy IDP values across the league at a prolific clip. We'll catch up on all of the biggest movers heading into Week 11.
Risers
Flannigan-Fowles was highlighted last week in this column as a potential one-week streamer, but his outlook has further improved. Darius Muasau (ankle) was placed on injured reserve during the week, opening up a path for Flannigan-Fowles to consistent playing time for the next few weeks. In two starts, he has 15 combined tackles.
The Jets still have some talent on their defense, even after a very active trade deadline. The safety corps has been stable for most of the season, thanks to the duo of Andre Cisco (pectoral) and Malachi Moore. Cisco is likely to be sidelined for the rest of the season, and Adams played 100 percent of defensive snaps in Cisco's absence against the Browns. He logged nine tackles and should be a decent IDP option for the rest of the season.
Noah Sewell
LB
There isn't a clear path to Sewell retaining a starting role with Tremaine Edmunds and T.J. Edwards (hand) on the roster, but Edwards has now missed four games on the campaign. In those four contests, Sewell has played a minimum of 95 percent of defensive snaps and has logged five, six, nine and 11 tackles. He's a potential streaming candidate in Week 11, pending Edwards' status.
Cody Simon
LB
Simon is another potential streamer, albeit not with the same upside as Sewell. Simon did a solid job filling in for Mack Wilson (ribs), maintaining a 100 percent defensive snap rate while tallying six tackles. Wilson didn't practice at all ahead of Week 10, so Simon could be in line for at least one more start.
Emmanwori has taken over as Seattle's primary slot corner since Week 6 and has maintained a snap rate of at least 88 percent in all four games since. He's also chipped in nine tackles on two occasions, including in Week 10. He also supplemented that performance with an impressive four pass breakups and is in the midst of a breakout that will give him the chance to be an elite IDP option in the secondary as early as 2026.
Jalon Walker
EDGE
Walker is another rookie emerging in IDP fantasy as the season progresses. He's seen his snap count tick up slightly in the last two weeks, but, more importantly, he's begun to display big-play ability. In those two contests, Walker has logged three sacks, three tackles for loss and two quarterback hits while also forcing two fumbles. He seems to be getting comfortable at the pro level and is showing the potential to be a very disruptive pass rusher.
Fallers
The Jets announced shortly after their fire sale at the trade deadline that Williams was being benched. Williams ended up playing 71 percent of defensive snaps with Francisco Mauigoa (concussion) sidelined. Mauigoa was estimated to be a full practice participant Monday, so we'll likely see the true split of playing time Thursday against New England. It likely won't be in Williams' favor.
A fall in playing time for Strnad was inevitable once Dre Greenlaw proved healthy, but Strnad's role completely disappeared in Thursday's win over the Raiders. Strnad played only six defensive snaps (10 percent), while Greenlaw ramped up to a 62 percent clip – nearly double his previous best on the season. Strnad is a name to keep on watch lists given Greenlaw's recent struggles to stay on the field, but his current fantasy value is minimal.
Elliss was held out of Sunday's win over the Buccaneers, perhaps opening up his already shaky role to further competition. After playing at least 70 percent of defensive snaps in the first two games of the season, he's hit that mark only once in his last seven matchups. Elliss mostly has been productive despite the more limited role, but Jack Gibbens (hamstring) had a very strong showing in Elliss' absence. This could turn into a timeshare where no player wins, but Elliss' role once he can return will be something to monitor closely.
