It was a decent week for the staff. Pianow and I paced the field at 8-5-1, and he extended his lead to two games over Stopa. This week we all like the Jets, and three writers made them their best bets. Oddly, Stopa and I both liked the Colts as our best bets, giving us a full house in that department. Had Pianowski not taken the Saints, the best-bet full house would have been comprised entirely of unanimous picks.

| Erickson | This is probably a sucker bet, but I immediately thought Jets when looking at this line. They're legitimately a good team, one that shouldn't be such a big underdog. My second best is the Panthers, third best is the Lions. |
| Pianowski | Unless Ryan Fitzpatrick has his worst game of the year (and maybe the Pats will find a way to scramble him up), the Jets have an excellent chance to cover, perhaps win outright. This is a very sound team with few weaknesses. And New England has glaring problems on the offensive line. |
| Liss | I think the Saints benefitted from a good setup last week, but the Colts will light them up in Indy. I also like the Jets and Chargers. And I'm coming around on the Chiefs. |
