Ben Sinnott

21-Year-Old Tight EndTE
2024 Fantasy Outlook
Sinnott was the second tight end selected in the 2024 NFL Draft, going 53rd overall to Washington, where he will have the opportunity to carve out a prominent role from the get-go alongside rookie second overall pick Jayden Daniels. Logan Thomas is a free agent after leading all Commanders tight ends with 496 receiving yards last season, but Washington brought in 33-year-old Zach Ertz to replace him. Ertz had only 187 receiving yards in seven games with the Cardinals last season before suffering a quadriceps injury, so it’s likely just a matter of time until Sinnott finds himself atop the depth chart in Washington. The 6-foot-4, 250-pound Sinnott had 49 catches for 676 yards and six touchdowns at Kansas State in 2023, and he started his college career as a fullback, showing promising versatility and blocking ability. Goes to Washington
TEWashington Commanders
April 26, 2024
The Commanders selected Sinnott in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 53rd overall.
ANALYSIS
Even with the Zach Ertz addition, tight end was a glaring need in Washington. Sinnott is the second tight end off the board, and rightfully so. He was one of the top producers at his position in his final year at Kansas State with 49 catches for 676 yards and six touchdowns on 76 targets. In fact, that made him the Wildcats' leading receiver by nearly 100 yards. The production put him on the draft radar, but his combine performance made him a legit second-round prospect. Sinnott runs a 4.68 40 with top percentile scores in his jumps and in the cone drill. That blend of production and athleticism will get him on the field in the nation's capital sooner rather than later, especially with only Ertz standing in his way.

Adds Bucs to recent visits

Sinnott visited the Buccaneers on Monday and Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
ANALYSIS
Sinnott has been making his rounds ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft, with recent visits to the Panthers, Giants and Buccaneers. Dane Brugler of The Athletic isn't particularly high on Sinnott, viewing him as a fourth-round prospect, but Sinnott's plethora of visits suggest some interested team may be tempted to call the tight end's name on Day 2 to swoop in ahead of his other suitors. Sinnott had 676 receiving yards and six touchdowns at Kansas State in 2023.
