2023 Fantasy Outlook
Cager bounced between the Giants' practice squad and active roster after signing with the team last October, ending with 13 catches for 118 yards and a TD over six contests. Much of that production came when New York rested its starters in Week 18 and Cager caught eight passes for 69 yards. The Giants signed Darren Waller in the offseason and are still high on second-year TE Daniel Bellinger, so Cager is unlikely to see more than a bit role if he makes the initial roster. Not playing Week 2
Cager (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against Arizona.
ANALYSIS
Cager played 16 offensive snaps in a blowout loss Week 1 against Dallas and finished with two catches on two targets for 17 yards. However, he's being held out Week 2 in Arizona. Cager figures to see limited opportunities this season with Darren Waller and Daniel Bellinger ahead of him on the tight-end depth chart.
