2025 Fantasy Outlook
After appearing in just two games for the Broncos in 2024 and totaling five touches for 23 total yards, Watson enters his second season facing an uphill battle for playing time once again in the team's backfield. The 24-year-old spent most of his rookie season on the practice squad and now finds himself in a crowded running back room featuring rookie RJ Harvey, J.K. Dobbins, Audric Estime, Jaleel McLaughin and Tyler Badie. Watson will compete for a depth role ahead of the 2025 campaign. Read Past Outlooks
Inks future deal with Tennessee
The Titans signed Watson (undisclosed) to a reserve/future contract Monday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Watson signed with the Titans' practice squad in late September after being let go by the Broncos with an injury settlement in late August due to a knee injury. He was placed on Tennessee's practice-squad injured list in early October due to an undisclosed issue and was not elevated to the active roster during the 2025 campaign. Watson will stick around in Tennessee and participate in offseason activities with an eye toward making the 53-man roster for the 2026 season.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
The latest versatile back out of Memphis, Watson is a converted wide receiver who's a willing pass protector and a tough runner in the open field, and he showed good balance and vision in college. A lack of size and speed caused him to go undrafted though, and signing with the Broncos gives him a tough path to playing time with Javonte Williams, Samaje Perine and Jaleel McLaughlin all looking for snaps. Watson may have to bide his time on the practice squad, but his well-rounded skill set could get him a look if injuries hit the Denver backfield.
