2025 Fantasy Outlook
The 31-year-old edge rusher returns to Dallas after following Dan Quinn to Washington for a productive 2024 season in which he racked up 10.5 sacks. Fowler is reliable and hasn't missed a game since 2021, and he'll provide a threat opposite Micah Parsons that offenses won't be able to completely ignore. Fowler only recorded 10.0 sacks over his first two seasons with the Cowboys in 2022-23, however, and new defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus' scheme doesn't emphasize the pass rush. The veteran followed Dan Quinn to Dallas and proved to be a solid addition to the Cowboys' pass rush, racking up six sacks in 2022 in only 329 snaps. Fowler was the third overall pick in the 2015 draft but aside from a big 2019 campaign with the Rams, he's never lived up to that billing. Instead, he'll join DeMarcus Lawrence, Dorance Armstrong and San Williams as complementary pieces behind Defensive Player of the Year candidate Micah Parsons.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Commanders could regret losing
Nick Shook of NFL.com suggests the Commanders could regret allowing Fowler to leave in free agency this offseason.
ANALYSIS
Shook begins his case by pointing out Fowler's 10.5-sack campaign during Washington's surprisingly successful 2024 season, during which the veteran edge rusher played in all 17 games for a third straight year. Additionally, Fowler landing on a division rival could certainly come back to bite Washington, as could the fact his projected replacement, Dorance Armstrong, has never reached double-digit sacks during his seven-year career.
