2025 Projections
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Harmon spent his first three collegiate seasons at Michigan State before transferring to Oregon for the 2024 season. He improved each year and was selected 21st overall by the Steelers in the 2025 NFL Draft. Harmon racked up 45 tackles (27 solo), including five sacks and 11 tackles for a loss, four pass defenses, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 2024. Larry Ogunjobi signed with Buffalo this spring, so Harmon should have a chance to see a full-time role as a rookie. Read Past Outlooks
Pittsburgh adds big DL 21st overall
The Steelers selected Harmon in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 21st overall.
ANALYSIS
Harmon (6-foot-5, 313 pounds) could be the next in the long line of Pittsburgh's tradition of finding dominant defenders in the front seven, with the former Oregon and Michigan State star probably projecting as an end in Pittsburgh's three-man fronts. Harmon is a solid bet to play in a full-time role as a rookie, taking the end reps opposite Cameron Heyward. With a heavy frame and 4.95 speed at his disposal Harmon could be both a plus run defender and pass rusher.

Anointed starter by DL coach
Harmon is penciled in as a starter along Pittsburgh's defensive line by the coaching staff, per Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com. "He goes out there with the 1s," defensive line coach Karl Dunbar said of Harmon. "He's our left starting defensive tackle. You can write that."
ANALYSIS
Harmon has looked impressive early and is poised to start out of the gate in Pittsburgh's base 3-4 defense after being selected 21st overall in the 2025 NFL Draft out of Oregon. Harmon said the Steelers have a similar defensive scheme to the one he had in college at Oregon, which has eased the rookie first-round pick's transition to the professional ranks.
