2025 Projections
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Houston drafted Mertz in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. Mertz recovered quickly and in time to make a positive impression at his Pro Day workouts, enough so that the Texans will take a chance. He'll push Davis Mills for the backup job, but it's more likely Mertz will be the third quarterback. Read Past Outlooks
