Rest-of-Season Projections
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Starting Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert has missed an average of five games per year across Calcaterra's three seasons, and he missed a career-high seven in 2024, giving Calcaterra more time than ever in the spotlight. In the seven outings Goedert missed, plus the game he exited after just three snaps, Calcaterra still averaged a modest 2.3 catches per game, though that's at least more than the 0.7 catches he averaged in contests where Goedert was available. Expect a similarly small role for Calcaterra in 2025. Read Past Outlooks
Done for day
Calcaterra (oblique) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Broncos, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
ANALYSIS
Calcaterra suffered an oblique injury in the first quarter. The injury is severe enough for him to be sidelined for the rest of Sunday's game, and it puts him in jeopardy of missing the Eagles' Week 6 clash against the Giants on Thursday. Cameron Latu and Kylen Granson will serve as the Eagles' backup tight ends behind Dallas Goedert in Calcaterra's absence.

Calcaterra served as the Eagles' third tight end last season, a role which saw him suit up for 15 games but see the field for less than 20 percent of his team's offensive snaps. He didn't have much chance to make an impact, catching four passes in the five games Dallas Goedert missed with a shoulder injury and a total of just one pass the rest of the year. The arrival of Dan Arnold pushes Calcaterra further down the depth chart.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could be team's top TE in Week 2
Calcaterra could play a larger role in Week 2, as Brooks Kubena of The Athletic reports that Dallas Goedert isn't practicing Friday and will likely sit out Sunday's game against the Chiefs.
ANALYSIS
Goedert has been unable to practice at all since spraining his foot in Philadelphia's season-opening win over the Cowboys. Calcaterra ranked second among Eagles tight ends with a 60 percent snap share Week 1, though Kylen Granson is also a candidate for additional action after playing just 27 percent of Week 1 snaps. Calcaterra had at least 30 yards or a touchdown in four of the seven games Goedert missed during the 2024 regular season.
