                2025 Fantasy Outlook

Granson led all Colts TEs in receiving yards each of the past two seasons, but that stat is more of an indictment on the state of Indianapolis’ tight end room during that stretch than an endorsement of Granson’s receiving ability, as he had only 550 receiving yards over that span. Through four NFL seasons, Granson has topped out at 368 receiving yards in a campaign, and the 6-foot-3 TE has been a non-factor in the red zone, with just one career TD. After signing with the Eagles in the offseason, Granson’s expected to fill a depth role in Philadelphia. Even if the Eagles trade starter Dallas Goedert, Granson would still have to battle Grant Calcaterra and Harrison Bryant for snaps. Blanked on Week 5 stat sheet
Granson went without a target while playing 22 of the Eagles' 61 snaps on offense in Sunday's 21-17 loss to the Broncos.
				ANALYSIS
Despite seeing his most extensive playing time of the season, Granson went without a look in the passing game for the third game in a row. Granson still looks like a strong candidate to match or exceed last week's 36 percent snap share in this Thursday's game against the Giants. The Eagles are expected to be without Grant Calcaterra (oblique) for Week 6, leaving Granson as the clear top backup to top tight end Dallas Goedert.

Granson was the most productive member of a crowded Colts tight end room last season, posting 30 catches for 368 yards and one touchdown on 50 targets. Indianapolis had three other tight ends total between 147 and 207 yards. All of those options remain with the team, plus Jelani Woods – who led all Colts TEs with 312 receiving yards in 2022 – is expected to return to the field after missing all of 2023 due to a hamstring injury. Granson’s Week 2 touchdown against the Texans last season marks his only trip to the end zone through 45 NFL games, and he isn’t an imposing red-zone target at 6-foot-3. Between his lack of a nose for the end zone and significant competition for playing time, Granson seems unlikely to break out in his fourth NFL season.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
    Could factor into offense
Granson should be given an opportunity to be a contributor at tight end in the Colts' offense this season, Mike Chappell of FOX 59 writes.
				ANALYSIS
Granson was selected in the fourth round by the Colts in the 2021 NFL Draft, but he managed only 11 receptions for 106 yards in his rookie season. Jack Doyle has since retired to open up some snaps, though the team also drafted Jelani Woods and Andrew Ogletree this summer to bolster the position. Mo Alie-Cox is almost certain to top the Indianapolis depth chart at tight end, but Granson should still have a chance to make a greater contribution in his second season with less experienced options behind him.
