2025 Fantasy Outlook
To'oTo'o busted out in his second NFL season, leading the Texans by a wide margin with 105 tackles over 15 regular-season games. He added 1.5 sacks, three passes defensed, one interception, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. He was expected to take on a bigger role in his sophomore season, but nobody foresaw Christian Harris' calf injury that kept him sidelined until December. That resulted in To'oTo'o nearly doubling his snap count. With Harris back, the Texans will have a deeper linebacking crew. Read Past Outlooks
Role unchanged in 2025
To'oTo'o finished the 2025 regular season with 95 tackles (42 solo), 2.5 sacks, four passes defensed, and a fumble recovery over 17 games.
ANALYSIS
To'oTo'o, who was a staple in the linebacking crew in 2024 and led Houston with 105 tackles in the regular season, was expected to take a step back in usage this season. That expectation was fueled by the return of a healthy Christian Harris and the addition of free agent E.J. Speed, but To'oTo'o remained an integral part. The Texans played a lot of nickel, which naturally limits one linebacker position, and To'oTo'o along with Azeez Al-Shaair made the cut. To'oTo'o has one year remaining on his rookie contract.

To'oTo'o is poised to increase his role in 2024 as the Texans lost Blake Cashman and Denzel Perryman in free agency, but he'll need to improve on a couple of worrisome trends that emerged during his rookie season. The team put a lot on his plate early, which led to a couple of games with double-digit tackles and a snap share above 80 percent between Weeks 2 and 6. That usage abruptly changed after Houston's bye week, as To'oTo'o struggled in coverage and topped the team's linebackers in missed-tackle rate. He's now penciled in as a starter at outside linebacker with Christian Harris at the other outside spot.

To'oTo'o has seen his snap count increase every week this season, and he was on the field for 95 percent of the defensive snaps in Sunday's win over the Jaguars.
ANALYSIS
The 2023 fifth-round pick out of Alabama was also calling defensive signals for the Texans in Week 3 with Denzel Perryman sidelined due to a hand injury, and To'oTo'o racked up 10 tackles, including six solo stops, Sunday while adding a pass defended. New Houston head coach DeMeco Ryans' defensive system has turned a number of linebackers into IDP stars in San Francisco, and To'oTo'o could be the next in line.
