ANALYSIS
Adebo, a 2021 third-round pick, entrenched himself as an immediate starter with the Saints but was limited to just seven appearances in 2024 before suffering a broken femur. The standout corner required surgery to address the injury, but he was deemed ready for normal offseason activities in late February. With his new team, Adebo will immediately slot in as a starter across from Deonte Banks, upgrading New York's secondary substantially.

Adebo has been a promising young cornerback since his rookie season, and he finally broke out last year. In 15 games, the 2021 third-round pick logged 76 tackles, four interceptions and 18 passes defended, the latter of which ranked third in the NFL. He also served as the Saints' top cornerback for much of the season while Marshon Lattimore was sidelined with injury. While Lattimore likely remains the team's No. 1 cornerback when healthy, Adebo could be on pace for a Pro Bowl campaign in 2024.
Adebo stepped into a significant role from Day 1 in New Orleans. The 2021 third-round pick saw his responsibility increase even further last season, as he played nearly every defensive snap when healthy across 13 appearances. With Marshon Lattimore set to return as the Saints' top cornerback after he missed 10 games in 2022 due to injury, Adebo should vie with Alontae Taylor and/or Bradley Roby for starting reps this fall.
Adebo was impressive in his rookie season, recording 66 total tackles, eight passes defensed and three interceptions. The 22-year-old is likely to start at cornerback opposite Marshon Lattimore, which should help him to see more opportunities to improve upon last season's performance. With the potential for opposing quarterbacks to avoid throwing in Lattimore's direction, Adebo could benefit for fantasy purposes if he's up to the challenge.
Letting Janoris Jenkins walk in free agency, the Saints had a massive hole at cornerback this offseason opposite Marshon Lattimore. Drafting Adebo in the third round was the most significant investment they made at the position. While veterans Patrick Robinson or P.J. Williams could open the season in the starting lineup, Adebo has the tools to work his way into a first-string role before long.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could have robust free-agent market
CBNew Orleans Saints
February 2, 2025
Multiple teams view Adebo as a top-three cornerback in the 2025 free-agent class, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com.
ANALYSIS
Adebo is among numerous prominent defensive backs that could hit the open market in the 2025 offseason. D.J. Reed headlines the cornerback class, which also features Charvarius Ward, Byron Murphy, Carlton Davis, Rasul Douglas, Asante Samuel, Mike Hilton and Nate Hobbs. That's lofty company for Adebo, who has had no complications in his recovery from surgery to repair a clean fracture to his femur, which occurred in Week 7 of the 2024 season.
