Morris spent his first three NFL seasons in Buffalo before signing a one-year contract with Jacksonville in May. The 2022 UDFA out of Bowling Green caught five of eight targets for 36 yards and a touchdown in 16 games during 2024. Brenton Strange, Johnny Mundt and Hunter Long will enter training camp with secure roster spots, so Morris will likely have to impress enough convince the Jaguars to carry four tight ends to have a chance of cracking the roster. Entering his third season with the Bills, Morris is at best the number three tight end on the team's roster. During his first two years as a pro, Morris appeared in 19 games, logging 10 catches on 14 targets for 110 yards and two touchdowns in that span, while also contributing on special teams. While Morris may be able to carve out a few more looks in 2024, the vast majority of Buffalo's targets at his position will continue to go to Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox.
