2025 Fantasy Outlook
Woolen is heading into the final year of his rookie contract. The UTSA product has started 46 games through three seasons, producing 162 tackles and 11 interceptions, including a pick-six. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound corner needs to improve as a consistent tackler, but he's a natural coverage corner with elite athleticism who's impossible to keep off the field. In the end, his fantasy numbers will likely lag behind his real-life value. Read Past Outlooks
In concussion protocol
Woolen is in concussion protocol but working through it quickly, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Woolen suffered a concussion in Sunday's 38-35 loss to the Buccaneers, but head coach Mike McDonald is "hopeful" that the cornerback will be able to practice in some capacity Wednesday. Woolen will have three chances to practice this week prior to the team's Week 6 matchup with the Jaguars.

2023
Woolen was once again a full-time starter for the Seahawks in 2023 and generated 53 tackles (42 solo), 11 pass breakups and two interceptions through 16 games. The 2022 fifth-round pick continued to impress in coverage, but he lacks consistent tackling skills that can make him exploitable against certain schemes. Woolen's starting role should be safe nonetheless, as his coverage ability and athleticism are sufficient, and the team didn't bring in competition this offseason anyway.

The cornerback was named to the Pro Bowl as a rookie in 2022, but he's in the final season of his rookie contract and may not be a player the Seahawks intend to sign. Woolen's coverage numbers have also declined in the early part of the season, as he's allowed a career-worst 89.8 QB rating on 19 pass attempts thrown his way.
