GOALIE

John Gibson, ANA vs. ARI ($8,500): He's already making a strong case for the Vezina just three games into the season and the Coyotes have hilariously yet to score a goal despite firing a ton of shots. I don't think their dry spell will last much longer, but the Ducks are 3-0 and doing it with a very young squad. Gibson is 5-1 with a career 1.79 GAA against the Coyotes.

CENTER

Evgeny Kuznetsov, WAS vs. VGK ($6,200): What hangover? The Caps have scored 13 goals in two games to start the season. Two of those were scored by Kuznetsov, and he dominated the Knights in the Finals with a goal and seven assists. The Knights are off to a shaky start playing their third straight road game, and Marc-Andre Fleury hasn't looked all that great.

Sam Steel, ANH vs. ARI ($4,400):
He played nearly 21 minutes last game after playing just 13 minutes in the season opener, and with injuries to Ryan Getzlaf and Ryan Kesler, Steel has become the top center in Anaheim. He was featured prominently on the power play and clearly Randy Carlyle is a fan. Steel had a very strong game against the Coyotes last Saturday with three shots on goal.

WING

T.J. Oshie, WAS vs. VGK ($6,700): Oshie's one of the most reliable names out there, pitching in all sorts of ways. He's scored five points, registered seven shots on goal, dished out six hits and blocked three shots this season. Oshie's aggressive style feels like it could be very effective against an underperforming blue line.

Claude Giroux, PHI at OTT ($6,200):
Giroux notched two assists in an embarrassing 8-2 loss at the homer opener, so at least individually he was having some success. If the Flyers don't come out with a win Gritty is going to be a dead man, and I'm sure they also know that falling behind in the Metro early on could jeopardize a potential playoff berth. Giroux scored two points in three games against the Sens last season.

Clayton Keller, ARI at ANA ($5,300):
A puck will bounce in their favor at some point, and a three-game scoring drought to start the season just seems kind of unfathomable. John Gibson is going to be very tough to beat, but if any Coyote is going to create some offensive chances it's going to be Keller.

DEFENSE

Thomas Chabot, OTT vs. PHI ($5,300): It's not his offense that's going to keep getting him minutes, it's his defense. Guy Boucher said as much and Chabot is averaging nearly 22 minutes per game after averaging 17:31 last season, including most of the power-play minutes. Because the Sens are bad and spend time in their own zone a lot, it also helps Chabot rack up blocked shots.

Michal Kempny, WAS vs. VGK ($3,300):
It's flying under the radar, but Kempny's expected to make his season debut against the Knights and play with John Carlson. The 28-year-old has limited offensive upside but Carlson might be able to give him a little boost; if anything, Kempny is a pretty reliable shot blocker, giving him a pretty good high floor at this price.
