Due to COVID issues, the NHL has realigned into four divisions: North (Canada), East, West and Central. This week, Statsman and AJ preview the fantasy issues for each team in the North. Specific topics include:

  • Calgary Flames -- Jacob Markstrom steps in to bolster the netminding
  • Edmonton Oilers -- Leon Draisaitl's flexibility makes this arguably the best forward tandem in the division
  • Montreal Canadiens -- Adding Jake Allen may not drastically lower Carey Price's workload
  • Ottawa Senators -- Despite drafting Tim Stuetzle and acquiring Matt Murray this team is still bad Toronto
  • Maple Leafs -- Jumbo Joe Thornton set for his Maple Leafs debut anchoring a much improved third line Vancouver Canucks -- Loui Eriksson continues to eat up all the cap space
  • Winnipeg Jets -- Connor Hellebuyck is poised to lead the league in games played
