Paul "Statsman" Bruno and AJ Scholz go around the league to discuss the hottest/coldest players on each team and the latest injury news.

Anaheim Ducks -- David Backes is miscast as a center, but the team has few alternatives.

Calgary Flames -- Sam Bennett is back in the lineup in a top-six role despite trade rumors.

Chicago Blackhawks -- Kevin Lankinen continues to thrive while Malcolm Subban finds himself related to a backup role again.

Columbus Blue Jackets -- It didn't take long for Patrik Laine and John Tortorella to clash with the elite winger benched Monday.

Florida Panthers -- The $10 million man Sergei Bobrovsky continues to be outplayed by Chris Driedger

Ottawa Senators -- Tim Stutzle continues to thrive and appears to have been better prepared for the NHL than No. 1 overall pick Alexis Lafrenairre.

Toronto Maple Leafs -- Strong depth means the team should easily overcome Wayne Simmonds' six-week absence.

Winnipeg Jets -- The lines are in a blender now that Pierre-Luc Dubois is available to play.
