Kline defeated Angela Hill via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) at UFC 322 on Saturday in New York City.
ANALYSIS
With all due respect to the likes of Melissa Martinez and Viktoriia Dudakova, Hill represented a much stiffer test for Kline despite the fact she is on the verge of turning 41 years of age in January. More than 15 years the junior of her opponent, Faitma dominated from start to finish. She won every positional battle, landing 4-of-7 takedown attempts and closing with a 115-56 edge in significant strikes landed. It was a flawless performance. Kline continues to get better and at just 25 years old, she has one of the highest ceilings in the 115-pound female division.
