Fanatics Sportsbook is the only one to have the Seahawks as high as -5 this early on, so maybe they know something we don't – or they're getting ahead of the game? It does make sense, given Maye's shoulder injury, and the fact that around 75% of the bets/money are coming in for Seattle.
Nevertheless, this is still a good spot for the Seahawks, who will be facing a Patriots team that wasn't tested all that often throughout the season – and even during their playoff run. I really wanted to give New England a shot in this game, but it feels like Seattle's passing attack can be the ultimate difference in this one.

The Patriots' run defense is one of the best in the NFL, so I'm not loving the chances for Kenneth Walker III to have much of a big game. However, I do like Darnold to get busy against the New England secondary.

JSN has scored a touchdown in each of his last two games, and it's worth noting that WR1s have the most touchdowns (9) of any position against the Patriots this season.
It's not fair that the QB is usually the one getting the Super Bowl MVP, but we have seen it a few times in recent memory – Julian Edelman (2019), Cooper Kupp (2022).
