Top FPL Transfers In
Tijjani Reijnders
He's been the standout bargain in the eyes of many managers after Gameweek 1. Reijnders' role and early involvement in attacks have encouraged a rush to secure him quickly after a goal and assist resulted in 10 fantasy points. In the short term, he looks like a strong enabler, but there remains a lingering concern about his long-term minutes once the squad settles and competition increases, which is directly related to the return of Rodri in the midfield.
Antoine Semenyo
The Bournemouth winger is another popular signing after scoring a brace in Gameweek 1. With Bournemouth's most difficult fixture against Liverpool already out of the way, the fixtures ahead look promising, especially Gameweek 2's matchup home against Wolves. Semenyo's price allows managers to strengthen elsewhere, and his willingness to shoot should give confidence that he can continue delivering. This transfer looks well supported by both numbers and fixtures.

Hugo Ekitike
The new signing has caught plenty of buzz with his red-hot form through two early matches. He's already playing with confidence and looks like a natural focal point up top for Liverpool. The one caveat is the possibility of Isak arriving, which would reduce his minutes and role. Managers moving early will be rewarded if Ekitike's form continues. Even if Isak transfers, his absence from Newcastle training suggests he'll need a week or two to get his fitness back.
Chris Wood
Last season's surprise has also entered the spotlight after his opening brace. Wood remains a proven finisher who can take advantage of good fixtures, but the debate is whether he's the best striker in his price bracket. His appeal feels more short term and may not be sustainable for the long run, especially since he turns 34 in December.
Erling Haaland
The Norwegian continues to dominate the transfer market, which has been the case since he moved to Manchester City. Those without him are scrambling to bring him in after a strong performance in Gameweek 1. He's clearly in good touch and remains a reliable captaincy option, but restructuring an entire squad to fit him is costly. For managers already well-balanced, it may be hard to get him in the squad since upcoming fixtures don't stand out (TOT, @BHA, MUN, @ARS).
Top FPL Transfers Out
Florian Wirtz
Wirtz blanked in his league debut, but his underlying numbers remain encouraging. With an expected goal involvement of 0.42 and nine defensive contributions in the first fixture, patience could pay off. Selling him now feels premature, especially considering the team he plays for. Goals and assists will always be there for Wirtz and that doesn't change after one match.
Alexander Isak
This one isn't too surprising given the Newcastle saga. Isak is being sold heavily with reports suggesting he may not feature until after the international break, no matter what happens with his club. The best-case scenario at this point may be that he trains fully over the international break to get back his fitness and is good for Gameweek 4.
Joao Pedro
Managers continue to drop Pedro but nothing has changed. Liam Delap was always expected to be a threat, and Pedro should still get 65 to 70 minutes most weeks. There will be big performances and plenty of duds against teams playing a low block against Chelsea.
Josko Gvardiol
The defender is being sold due to fitness concerns, but there hasn't been a firm update on his status, which can be a good and bad thing. If you have bench cover, keeping Gvardiol could be wise as early transfers are best saved for aggressive moves later.
Ezri Konsa
Aston Villa's top center-back is being sold unnecessarily. Konsa can easily be covered from the bench, and saving the transfer ahead of Gameweek 2 is the smarter play. Following the trip to Brentford in which Konsa is suspended, Villa face Crystal Palace, Everton and Sunderland in the next three.
The FPL community trends show clear patterns, but not every popular transfer is worth copying. Even though it's only been one week, plenty of users are desperate to make moves within their team. Managers should weigh long-term value over short-term frustration.
