Gakpo has steadily improved during his time with Liverpool with 2024/25 being his best en route to 10 goals and four assists. He finished the season as the top choice on the left wing which is where he started, but whether through injury or rotation, he wasn't a lock in every starting XI. Gakpo's biggest step forward in his third season were his chances created (38), likely due to the role on the wing.
