2025 Fantasy Outlook
Anderson made the move to Nottingham Forest from Newcastle last summer and immediately found a role, capturing a regular spot in the midfield. He started 33 of his 37 appearances for almost 2,800 minutes, numbers he was never going to see at Newcastle. Still, in terms of fantasy, he was stuck in more of a holding role for the majority of his minutes, limiting him to two goals from 40 shots and six assists on 37 chances created. A split role of set pieces helped his floor and will be something to target in the new season. Given that he found more of his footing in the latter half last campaign, it's reasonable to expect more goals and assists in 2025/26.
Scores late penalty
Anderson scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) and three crosses (one accurate) in Sunday's 3-1 victory over Leeds United.
ANALYSIS
Anderson converted from the spot in stoppage time to make it 3-1 after Leeds United had thrown bodies forward. He had been active in midfield phases before that and stayed on to finish the match. Anderson contributed defensively with three tackles, one interception and one clearance, but his first goal of the season from a penalty was the main highlight of his game on Sunday.
