Rumors have circled that he should be in for a larger role in the 2025/26 campaign, which should give him the chance to build on that efficient return to Spain. It's unlikely he continues anywhere near that efficiency, but with more minutes he could push for a handful of goals and assists during his fourth season in Europe. His main competition on the right flank will come from Nicolas Pepe, who should also get minutes as a striker, giving Buchanan more chances to start.
