This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.
After a dramatic day of NBA playoffs on Saturday, Sunday brings two more games with both Western Conference series sitting at 2-1. It also comes with another opportunity to win some money on DraftKings and the players below are all options to consider as you create your entry.
GUARDS
Rajon Rondo, NO vs. GS ($8,000): Rondo only scored four points on 2-for-11 from the field in Game 3, but still scored 49.5 DraftKings points because he finished with 10 rebounds and 21 assists. He has had a few big scoring performances in the playoffs thus far, but he's provided a lot of value overall by averaging 7.9 rebounds and 13.9 assists. The Pelicans will need another great all-around performance from him Sunday as they try to tie up the series, making him an excellent option for your entry.
Klay Thompson, GS at NO ($6,200): Thompson has still been heavily involved in the Warriors offense even with Stephen Curry now back in the fold, attempting at least 20 shots in both of the last two games. He made only four of them in Game 2, but was much better on his way to scoring 37.3 DraftKings points in Game 3. The Warriors have a lot of mouths to feed on offense, but Thompson can still score enough to warrant consideration at this price.
Alec Burks, UTA vs. HOU ($4,200): Burks has provided a scoring punch off the bench for the Jazz in this series and scored at least 20 DraftKings points in all three games. He's been helped by the injury to Ricky Rubio (hamstring), logging at least 17 minutes in each contest. Rubio is listed as questionable Sunday, but Burks may have secured himself more playing time anyways even if Rubio does return.
FORWARDS
Draymond Green, GS at NO ($8,100): Green continues to provide excellent all-around performances in this series. He recorded a triple-double in Game 1 and was only a rebound shy in Game 2 and an assist shy in Game 3 from achieving that feat in all three contests. While his ability to chip in with defensive contributions as well, he could carry significant value again Sunday.
Joe Ingles, UTA vs. HOU ($5,400): Ingles was horrible in Game 3, shooting 2-for-10 from the field and scoring only 12.3 DraftKings points. He shot 46.7 percent from the field during the regular season, so this was certainly an abnormal offensive performance. His price came down a bit due to his bad performance, so it might be worth taking a chance on him rebounding with a better game Sunday.
P.J. Tucker, HOU at UTA ($3,700): Cheap value plays are tough at this point in the playoffs. Teams are going with shorter rotations and there are a lot of high-priced options, so you'll have to take some risks in order to get enough stars into your entry. The good news with Tucker is that he has played at least 25 minutes in all three games of this series, scoring at least 26 DraftKings points twice. His upside isn't overly high, but he is still someone to consider at this very cheap price.
CENTERS
Anthony Davis, NO vs. GS ($11,100): Davis has an incredibly high floor, scoring at least 20 points and grabbing at least 10 rebounds in all seven playoff games that he has played this season. He's also providing a ton of defensive stats, leading to him being the highest priced player for the day. His usage rate will continue to be off the charts Sunday, so expect another meaty stat line.
Clint Capela, HOU at UTA ($7,000): Going up against Rudy Gobert hasn't proven to be troublesome for Capela so far in this series, scoring at least 37.5 DraftKings points in all three games. Capela only averaged 28 minutes per game in the regular season, but has averaged 32 minutes in this series as the Rockets need his size to battle with Gobert. The added playing time only helps his value, making him a great option if you don't want to pay up for Davis.
