DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

Slate Overview

MIN (-1) at NYK, O/U:

DET at GSW (-14.5), O/U:

The Timberwolves-Knicks is more likely to result in a competitive contest and is therefore more reliable to build around.

Karl-Anthony Towns, Anthony Edwards and D'Angelo Russell are all priced in the top tier but stand out as good selections, as they have each been playing well lately for the Timberwolves. Jarred Vanderbilt and Patrick Beverley are great mid-priced options, while Malik Beasley is priced for value.

On the Knicks' side, RJ Barrett has been on a roll lately and comes with a modest price tag. Alec Burks, Evan Fournier and Mitchell Robinson come with lower mid-range price tags, while Immanuel Quickley is a good value option.

Injuries to Monitor

Nerlens Noel (knee), Kemba Walker (knee): Questionable
Derrick Rose (ankle), Cam Reddish (ankle): OUT

Alec Burks and Immanuel Quickley will get a boost without Rose and even moreso if Walker is sidelined as well. Mitchell Robinson would see more action without Noel in the lineup.

Frank Jackson (COVID-19): Questionable
Jerami Grant (thumb): OUT

Saddiq Bey and Hamidou Diallo need to continue to step up in Grant's absence. Cory Joseph will get a boost if Jackson is out.

Gary Payton (ankle): Questionable
Draymond Green (calf): OUT

Jordan Poole will get a boost without Payton. Juan Toscano-Anderson and Otto Porter are up for more responsibility without Green.

Elite Players

Guards

D'Angelo Russell ($8,200)

Russell has been playing well lately, averaging 20.6 points, 2.6 rebounds, 10.0 assists and 1.2 steals over the last five games. He has been hot from long range, with an average of 3.8 three-pointers per game over that span. He topped 42 DK points in three of the last five games.

Cade Cunningham ($7,500)

The Pistons have a tough matchup in Golden State, but Cunningham's ability to stuff the stat sheet makes him a solid pick. Cunningham topped 30 DK points in five of the last eight games, while he is averaging 16.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 1.0 steals over that span.

Forwards/Centers

Anthony Edwards ($8,600)

Edwards has topped 30 DK points in eight of the last 10 games. He is averaging 22.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.4 steals over that span.

Julius Randle ($9,200)

Randle continues to lead the Knicks on both ends of the floor, as he averages a team-high 19.1 points per game. Randle has logged at least 10 rebounds in five of the last seven games.

Karl-Anthony Towns ($10,200)

Towns has been putting up some big numbers, topping 40 DK points in each of the last six games, including one occasion where he topped 60 DK points. Towns leads the Timberwolves, averaging 24.6 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.2 blocks and 1.1 steals per game.

Expected Chalk

Stephen Curry ($10,600)

Curry missed the Warriors' last game but is expected to be ready to go for Tuesday's contest. He has been relatively quiet lately, averaging 18.2 points over his last six games. However, he still topped 25 DK points in each contest, including one where he logged 57.0 DK points. Curry will have an advantage in his matchup, as the Warriors play host to the struggling Pistons. He will also have to step up to make up for the absence of Draymond Green.

Value Picks

Isaiah Stewart ($4,600)

Stewart topped 20 DK points in four of the last six games. He is playing an average of 25 minutes per game, and he should have an advantage against the Warriors' frontcourt.

Jonathan Kuminga ($4,300)

Kuminga will pick up added playing time in the absence of Draymond Green. Kuminga has topped 22 DK points in his last four games, including one outing where he totaled 45.1 DK points.

Jaden McDaniels ($3,500)

McDaniels has topped 21 DK points in two of the last four games. McDaniels is averaging 26.2 minutes per game.

Malik Beasley ($4,400)

Beasley is averaging 12.4 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists, over the last 10 games, and he topped 22 DK points four times over that span.

Immanuel Quickley ($4,000)

Quickley is in line for additional playing time with Derrick Rose sidelined. He will pick up even more of a boost if Kemba Walker (questionable) is sidelined, as well. Quickley topped 23 DK points in three of the last five games.
